Yirgacheffe coffee beans consists of exceptional citrus and floral flavors. This washed highland coffee beans are characterized by bright acidity and medium body. Ethiopian Yirgacheffe is spicy and fragrant, and is frequently reviewed and rated as one of the highest quality Arabica coffees in the world. Their premium reputation also often means they carry a premium price, but even so, they offer better value for your money than other comparable coffee brands. Our Yirgacheffe coffee is a Fair Trade Organically grown.

ABOUT THE REGION
The coffee takes its name from the town of Yirgacheffe (Irgachefe) located within Ethiopia’s Sidama region in the south and is the administrative center of the coffee-growing district. Its farmers are often members of the Yirgacheffe Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union, which consists of over 40,000 farmers. They are exempt from the Ethiopian Coffee Exchange (ECX), which allows them to receive a premium for their premium coffees, including Fair Trade and Organic certifications.
